What we lack isn't numbers, but the means to act like the majority. That means moving from defense to offense. From reacting to crises to creating the conditions for democratic renewal. From isolated pockets of resistance to a coordinated, people-powered river of sustained action.
Movements run on shared understanding of challenges and opportunities. Through the Anti-Authoritarian Playbook, the 12:01 Network, and the Anti-Authoritarian Podcast, we engage activists, organizational leaders, emerging organizers, artists, and funders with the analysis they need to act strategically. Every piece of analysis we produce is designed to move people from awareness to collective action.
We work with partners to develop and deploy a generation of trainers, organizers, artists, and cultural workers who are equipped to counter political violence and repression, organize noncooperation, and coordinate mass strategic nonviolent action. We prepare people to hold the line and make repression backfire.
The most powerful movements in history have always understood that joy is a part of the struggle. We are building a civil resistance movement that people want to join, that creates genuine community, and that sustains itself. We believe that a movement rooted in freedom, creativity, and collective power is the one that ultimately wins.
Winning democratic renewal requires interconnected strategy, shared infrastructure, and the ability to turn crisis moments into opportunities. We convene innovation labs, build bridges between national and state-level efforts, explore international democracy networks, and are mapping, connecting, and strengthening the full landscape of democracy reform and resistance work. We are building the river, one spring at a time.
